Mr. Marcus Xavier Gibson was born on July 30, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana; to the late Charles Gibson, Sr., and Mary Ann Gibson.
Marcus had a strong faith in God. Marcus was blessed and the proud father of two children.
Marcus received his high school diploma in the year of 2000 from Manual High School. He graduated from college and became a registered nurse. He received his BSN degree at WGU and was recently studying to earn his MSN.
Marcus worked for Community hospitals and previously at St. Vincent hospital as a registered nurse. Marcus enjoyed taking care of his patients and was supportive to his fellow employees. Marcus was a generous person who loved to joke around with family and friends. One of his gifts was making everyone laugh, no matter what the situation was. His laugh was unique and when you heard it, you had to laugh also. His hobbies included buying tennis shoes, watching sports and cooking shows.
Marcus departed this life on Friday, January 15, 2021. Marcus was preceded in death by his father Charles Gibson, Sr., mother Mary Ann Gibson and his brother Gerald Gibson.
He leaves to cherish in his memory his handsome son, Marcus Xavier Gibson Jr.,; his beautiful daughter, Asia Love Gibson; his four sisters, Sharon Gibson, Carolyn Stanback (Rodney), Felicia (Kenneth) Grant, and LaTonya Gibson; four brothers, Kevin Gibson, Damen Gibson, Charles Gibson III, and Derrick Gibson; his grandmother, Sadie Daniels; his best friends, George Stevens Jr., Rodney Adams and Damon Harrison, his companion, Kiana Cox; 14 nephews, 3 nieces, and a hosts of uncles and aunts, many cousins, and other loving relatives.
