Marcus Trent James Pence was born on July 31, 1961 to James Louis and Dora Lee Bailey Pence in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Marcus received his primary education from Woodrow Wilson School #75 . He received his secondary education from Woods High School.
Marcus was baptized in Jesus Name at the tender age of nine years old under the leadership of the late Bishop C. W. Turner. Marcus received the Holy Ghost on February 14, 2021 from his hospital bed. Marcus called his sister on February 14, 2021 and shared with her that he wanted the Holy Ghost that day. He often said he did not want to go to hell.
Marcus had a meeting with his team of doctors with his family by his side. After the news that was given to him from the doctors, he began singing, “I’m a soldier in the Army of the Lord, If I die let me die in the Army of the Lord.”
Marcus began working at the age of 15 years old as a labor worker.
Marcus enjoyed all types of sports, but basketball was his favorite sport.
