Marcus James Poulliard passed away on September 28, 2016 at the age of 62. He was the beloved son of Floyd and Arlene Poulliard. He was the oldest brother to Donetta Braner, Michelle Requarth, and Emily Poulliard. Marcus lived in Mandeville with his loving wife, Mirtha Poulliard. Marcus unconditionally loved and cared for his three children, Piper Poulliard, Emily Poulliard, and Jeff Poulliard. After graduating from Bradley University then Loyola School of Law in New Orleans, he spent over 30 years as one of the most respected medical malpractice trial lawyers in the New Orleans area, as a partner at Frischhertz, Poulliard, Frischhertz & Impastato. He was admired for his relentless dedication to the families he represented. His favorite moments were watching his son play baseball, watching his daughter grow into her place in theatre and film, and most recently the birth of his first grandchild. Marcus took pride in giving of himself to be the best friend, advisor, father, and husband to all within his reach. His willingness to sacrifice himself for clients, friends, and family was unmatched. His life was forever marked by his motto, “I may not say much, but when I do, you better listen.
