Marcus Doyle “Mark” Cook, 52, of Newnan, husband of Joella Leeann Brasher Cook died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at his home. Born in Jackson, MS, October 6, 1964, he was the son of Carolyn Gill Cook and the late Martin Lavon Cook. He was a former painter, an avid fisherman and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are daughters, Breanna Nicole Thomas of Newnan and Summer Louise Connor of Tallapoosa, GA; step-daughter, Shelby Smith of Newnan; grandchildren, Kenzie Ruth Thomas and Hazel Mae Connor; sister, Martina Cook Jenkins and husband Maj. Matthew Jenkins of Daegu, South Korea; brother, Timothy Cook and wife Janaé of Kennewick, WA; nieces, Olivia Cook, Kiersten Jenkins, Lindsey Jenkins and Alyssa Jenkins; and a nephew, Kyle Cook.
