Marcin A. Grochal, 43, Berlin, beloved husband of Katie (Wojtak) Grochal and father to Matthew and Isabella, suddenly passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 12, 2022.Marcin was born in Warsaw, Poland on July 31, 1978 to Marian and Barbara (Wielemborek) Grochal of New Britain. Marcin had a wonderful childhood, enjoying soccer and other activities with his younger brother Jarek. He came with his family to America in search of a better life in 1994 at the age of 16. He graduated from Mary Immaculate Academy in 1998 and earned a degree in economics and finance from CCSU, and was a member of St. Paul Church, Kensington. It was there that he met his wife Katie, and began the most joyous time in his life that brought with it two amazing kids who stole his heart. With them, he loved walking, spending time at the beach, enjoying a good meal and photographing their adventures. He is survived by his wife Katie, his two children Matthew and Isabella, his brother Jarek Grochal and his wife Carollynn Goldenberg, his parents Marian and Barbara, his mother-in-law Theresa and his brother-in-law Artur and his wife Magdalena, and their children, Michael and Maya who will all miss him dearly. Marcin was predeceased by his father-in-law Wojciech Wojtak.
