Marcella M. “Marcie” Edwards, 90 of Wenona passed away at 12:20 PM Sunday (August 23, 2015) at Heritage Health in Minonk.
She was born on June 10, 1925 in Streator to George & Anna (Uhren) Harcharik. She married the former Donald D. Edwards on September 25, 1944 at St.
She is survived by a daughter, Terrie Edwards of Pompano Beach, FL; a son, Dean (Carol) Edwards of Wenona; 2 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Evelyn Grako of Streator and Norma Hoban of Olathe, KS and a brother, Edward Harcharik of Archie, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; 2 sisters: Jean Barnwell and Kathryn Korona and 2 brothers, George & Ervin “Humpy” Harcharik.
She graduated from St. Stephen’s Grade School and Streator High School. She retired after 34 years at Archway Cookie Factory in Wenona. She was a member of St.
