Marceline D. (Marcie) Zellers, 85, of 9446 Wallis Run Road, Trout Run, died Friday, July 30, 2010, at The Gatehouse following a brief illness.
Marcie’s husband, Lewis L. (Louie) Zellers, died on January 23, 2009.
Marcie was co-owner of Bald Eagle Rocks and Gems, retiring in 1985 after 25 years in the business. She was a great lover of the outdoors and nature, enjoyed bird watching, rock hounding and bowling.
Marcie was an artist, a history buff, enjoyed traveling, loved the Native American culture and loved her family dearly.
Born March 16, 1925 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Robert and Lena Ammeter Dodds.
Surviving are twin sons, Lewis J. of Douglassville and Michael J. of Hamburg and son, John W. of Trout Run; a daughter, Margaret M. Kane of Williamsport; a sister, Gloria Jean Pryor of Cogan Station, a sister-in-law, Eva D. Racine in FL; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
Marcie was predeceased by a brother, John Robert Dodds.
