Marcel Hugo Albers, 67, of O’Fallon, IL passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020.Marcel was born November 3, 1952 in Breese, IL. He was a truck driver for S&H Transportation Co. Marcel’s hobbies were golfing, playing pool, and throwing darts. He volunteered his time as a coach for sports teams at St. Clare Catholic School and for t-ball and baseball for the O’Fallon Boosters.
Marcel was preceded in death by his parents, Aloys Henry Sr. and Alvina Catherine (nee Schulte) Albers and brothers, David Albers and Louis Albers.He is survived by his wife, Adria Albers nee Wisniewski of O’Fallon, IL; children, Brian Albers of O’Fallon, IL and Jason (April) Albers of Union, MO; and siblings, Dennis Albers of Fredericktown, MO, Don (Karen) Albers of O’Fallon, IL, Roger Albers of Nashville, IL, Jim (Saundra) Albers of Sharpsburg, GA, Al (Tina) Albers of Waterloo, IL, Ruth (Gene) Willowsky of Money Point, NY, Karen Albers of Mascoutah, IL, and Marilyn (Rick) Smith of Waterloo, IL.
