Maralene “Midge” Rose Ivy, 69, of Bergheim, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 after a long battle with heart failure, surrounded by her loving family.
Maralene Rose Thomas was born on January 17, 1950 in Silverton, Oregon to Clayton Thomas and Blandina (Wellman) Thomas. She married Mike Ivy on April 20, 2014 after being together for 26 years. Mike’s best friend, she could be described as bubbly, chatty, and very friendly. Midge never met a stranger. She was an excellent cook and baker. She worked at various companies throughout her lifetime in a variety of different capacities. The City of Fair Oaks Ranch Utility Department was her last place of employment before retiring many years ago.
Midge is survived by her husband, Mike Ivy; her son, Brian Anderson; her stepchildren: Mikie (Tom) Humphreville, Teri Ivy, and Robert Ivy; her grandchildren, Amanda (Christopher) Curry, Hannah Vickers, and Luke Humphreville; her great-granddaughter, Makenzie Tyler; her sister, Rosie Pankratz; and many other nieces, nephews and family members.
Midge was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Blandina Thomas; her brother, Lauren “Ben” Thomas; her sisters, Laurita “Rita” Fisher and Cloreen Brothers; and her grandson, Kyler Humphreville.
