Mara Emilia Young, 67, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2008 at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, TX. She was born on July 17, 1940 in Tripoli, Libya to Guiseppe and Rita (Favro) Eserina. She married Harry Edward Young on Sept 9, 1960 in Tripoli, Libya. Mara and her husband moved to the Alamogordo area in 1978 where they worked together as travel consultants at First Travel Center. She was a member of St. Jude Mission where she was very active in the church activities.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Harry of the family home; sons, Jeffrey Young of Caddo Mills, TX, Dennis Young of Tularosa and Mark Young of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Shelley Young of San Francisco, CA and Garrett Young of Tularosa, who she helped raise; and her sister, Edna Miller of Tucson, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Eros Eserina.
A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at St Jude Mission.
