MANUEL MORALES PEREZ, 98, Deming resident passed away Saturday January 21, 2012 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home.
Manuel was born April 18, 1913 in San Sabastian, Puerto Rico to Maria Perez and Jose Morales. He was a Deming resident for over 20 years coming from California. Manuel was a member of the New Life Apostolic Church and had worked for the City of Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the maintenance department.
Survivors include, his wife, Ignacia Morales of the home; 6 sons, Gerado Morales, Luis Morales, Andino Morales, Carlos Morales all of Santa Maria, California, Juan Morales, Samuel Morales both of Tucson, Arizona; 6 daughters, Zoraida Martinez, Lucy Martinez, Rosa Awilda Morales of Santa Maria, Ada Morales of Las Vegas, Nevada, Orpha Morales, Priscilla Morales of Deming and numerous Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Morales, 2 sons, a daughter, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
