Manuel Padilla
Manuel Padilla, beloved father and grandfather passed peacefully Wednesday, Sept 24, 2014 at age 83. His family was by his side as he fought a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born in Tuolumne, California, one of four boys born to Nabor and Faustina Padilla. He is survived by his three sons with Vonice Padilla, Donald R Padilla (wife Barbara ), Richard A Padilla (companion Cynthia Arcurio), and Michael W Padilla. Two brothers Ray Padilla, Marshall Padilla (wife Shirley) and numerous nieces and nephews. Three grandchildren; Nicole Prater (husband Jason), Deanna Padilla and Dominique Padilla. Two great grandchildren; Alexis and Colsen Prater. He is also survived by his long time companion Beverly Holbrook and extended family of four daughters Debbie Curran (husband Bill), Dianna Webber (husband Ron), Janine Wright (husband Ted), Theresa Shotwell and numerous grandchildren.
Over the years Manny enjoyed competitive bowling and billiards, capturing many awards. His favorite pastime was fishing even though he couldn’t eat the fish due to allergies. Wheel of Fortune was his favorite show. He was deeply loved and will be missed by many.
