He is survived by his son, Manuel C. Johnson; two daughters, Lori A. Johnson and Kelly R. Jones; ex-wife, Shirley J. Hall; and two grandchildren, Emily M. Johnson and Jason Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Hunter & Verbina Kleinack Johnson and several siblings.
