Manfred Erich Herden, affectionately known as Fredi, born in Salzern-Elsass, Germany, on August 1, 1944, passed away June 16, 2016. He spent his youth in Germany, Brazil, and Argentina before choosing North America as is home in 1970. He was an avid boater, hunter, and fisherman; he had the ability to make anyone feel comfortable with his strong boisterous laugh. After 25 years with Mercedes Benz he changed career paths in 1985 and became a general contractor in Florida. He worked until he was forced to retire due to health issues. His kindness, compassion, loyalty and conviction were an inspiration to all family, friends and coworkers. We are all blessed to have known such a loving man who cast a lifelong impression on our hearts. He was loved. He is survived by his grandson, Robert Herden and his daughter Manuela Herden.
