Manford Gregg Eddy, age 93, of Clifton, Colorado passed away peacefully Saturday, October 24th, 2015 at Hope West Hospice Care Center. Born September 15th, 1922 in Osawatomie, Kansas, son of the late Denny and Ida Bell (Gregg) Eddy. He grew up in Silt, CO, where he spent his younger years working on a farm. In 1941, while at a dance, he met the love of his life, Louise Etenburn. Fours years later, they were married on June 2, 1945 in Grand Junction, CO.  They just celebrated 70 wonderful years of marriage. Manford was a talented building contractor who owned his own business. He built houses and remodeled many homes all over the Grand Valley,including the one in which he and Louise lived in for the past 55 years. Always hardworking and an excellent provider, he passed his work ethic and skills down to his children. One of his favoriate accomplishments was owning and restoring a 1930 Model A Ford. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling.  But most of all,, he loved to DANCE!  Manford is survived by his five children, Janice (Paul) Early, of Grand Junction, Kathy (Fred) Nelson, of White Water, Chuck (Bernadette) Eddy, of Loma, Lana (Billy) Myers of Grand Junction, Peggy (Darwin) Burford of Fruita, eleven grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Denny, and also a sister who died at birth.
