Mamie Lee Ambrose Frowner, a native of the Manila community and a resident of Mobile, made her earthly transition on the morning of Friday, June 24, 2020 while at North Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation in Eight Mile. Mamie was born to Hosie Ambrose and Lucille Nicholson. She was a faithful member of Souled Out Ministries International until her health began to fail. She enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Mary Alice Frowner and Rose Gamble; two brothers, Robert Ambrose and Johnny R. Ambrose.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Daytara Frowner of Mobile; two sons, Thomas Dwayne Frowner of Mobile and Ernest Frowner Sr. of Manila; three sisters, Barbara (Nathaniel) Caster of Mobile, Helen Hunt of Jackson and Emma Bryant of Walker Springs; two brothers, Jessie (Rebecca) Ambrose of Mobile and Charles (Jennifer) Ambrose of Butler; seven devoted grandchildren, Rouecchia Rivers, Thomas Frowner Jr., Shalithia Frowner, Mamie Frowner, Joshua Washington, Damarius Frowner and D’Mauri Frowner; with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special friend and the father of her children, Bennie Frowner of Manila.
