Malissa “Kay” Nelson Malissa Carrie “Kay” Nelson, 59, of Nokesville, Virginia, passed away at her home on September 7, 2016. Kay was a longtime member of Nokesville Church of the Brethren and retired from Prince William County Circuit Court Land Records Division. Kay was born in 1957 to the late Homer B. Weakley and the late Malissa B. Weakley Cornwell. She is also predeceased by her stepfather E. Elwood Cornwell. Kay was a feisty lady who loved children of all ages, had a heart of gold and a laugh that could brighten anyone’s day. Her passion for life showed through in all the lives she touched. She loved her family with all her heart and was always there for them no matter what they needed day or night.
