Malinda A. “Swinky” Headen left her earthly life on April 6, 2018 at Hospice in Pittsboro, NC. She was born to the late Pauline and Charles Pugh on January 5, 1962. She attended J.S. Waters School in Goldston, NC.
Malinda was a member of Union Grove A.M.E. Zion Church of Bear Creek, NC. She worked many jobs until her health declined.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Antonio Headen of Siler City, NC, Melisa White of Pittsboro, NC, Jessica White of Siler City, NC and Larry White Jr. (Jonnia) of Bear Creek, NC; one brother, Jimmy Wayne Pugh of Siler City, NC; one sister, Bertim Pugh of Siler City, NC; a very special Godson, Tre’ J. Edwards of New York; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Charles and Pauline Pugh; and one brother, Daryl Pugh (Patricia).
