Malcolm W. “Web” Stockwell, 91, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10:20 a.m. in Royal Oaks Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Malcolm was formerly employed by the City of Terre Haute for Housing and Urban Development and was a Realtor for Pfister and Company. He was a member of the VFW Post 972 and the American Legion in Spencer, Indiana.
He was born February 2, 1921 in Owen County, Indiana to Earl Stockwell and Bertha Powell Stockwell.
Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Bryant Peters Stockwell; and a son, Mike Peters.
He is survived by sons, D. Stockwell of Terre Haute, Duane Stockwell and his wife, Millie of Cincinnati, OH, Jay Peters and his wife, Sally of Terre Haute, and Marty Peters of Murfreesboro, IL. He is also survived by daughters, Janet Miller and Jeri Doty, both of Terre Haute, Mindy Sheff and her husband, Allen of Cincinnati, OH and Joy Davis and her husband, Eddie of Simi Valley, CA. Malcolm is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
