His surviving family includes his mother, Gladys Barefoot (Coats), his sister, Carolyn Wilson (Ivey), his children, Kimberly Kermick (Daniel), Michael Ivey (Jaymie), Derek Ivey (Kristin), Amanda Hamilton (Ricky), and Cynthia Ivey (Sierra), his grandchildren, Autumn Tyndall-Kyleigh Kermick, Raelynn Ivey, Ashton and Kinsey Ivey, Trey, Aubrey and Madeline Hamilton, and Brentley Wilson and Emery Ivey, along with his many nieces and nephews.
