Malcolm “Mac” Davis, 62, Anderson, passed away June 6, 2011 at St. Johns Health System, after a brief illness. He was born October 11, 1948 in Anderson, Indiana. Upon returning to Indiana in January of 1993, he suffered a brain-stem stroke that left him a quadriplegic, without speech.

He joined the United States Marine Corps in the summer of 1967, and served in Vietnam with the USMC Air Wing as a jet engine mechanic.

He had worked as an Anderson Police Officer for 5 years. Later as an owner/operator of Extermitol Pest Control Business, then as a Security Inspector at Rockwell International Nuclear Processing Site in Golden Colorado. Later, he worked at Boeing Aircraft as a Tool Maker in Seattle, Washington.

He is survived by his brothers, William Randolph Davis of Seymour and Douglas Davis of Anderson and an sister, Diana McGuire of Anderson; a younger sister, Kimberly D. Cannon of Muncie; four sons, Spencer Davis of Markleville, Jason Davis of Muncie, Jason Smith of Wabash and Chauncy Maier of Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Noland Davis; father, William Davis and a brother, Rodney Davis.
