Those left to honor Magel’s memory are her husband, Larry E. of Newton; five sons, Larry D. (Diane) Plumb of Newton, Randy Plumb of Newton, Jeff Plumb of Burlington, Dick Plumb of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Van (Debbie) Plumb of Des Moines; daughter, Tracy Plumb of Des Moines; her twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, brother, Alfred (Cheryl) Lucas of San Diego, California; two sisters, Maxine Lucas of Toledo, and Evelyn Rose of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Tamsey (Sander) Lucas; grandson, Kalin Gurley; four brothers, Raymond, Therman, Lyod, and Bill Lucas; and 4 sisters, Ruth, Faye, Zelma and Marget Lucas.
Magel loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She very much enjoyed the special times she had with Kyra.
at the Plumb home, 1020 E. 10th St. N. in Newton and all the family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the home.
