Mafelda “Gaye” Jones was 82 years old and a resident of Denver Colorado. She is preceded in death by her father Wallace Rial Buntin and L.Z. Rolston along with several Aunts, Uncles, and additional family members. Gaye was the mother of three grown children Don, Amber and Melisa and survived by her children, her brother Don Buntin, sister in law Donna Buntin, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In her lifetime Gaye focused on being a mother, single mother and foster parent serving as a voice to over 50 foster children. Her life focus was on giving and parenting children that needed help. Her love and generosity spanned over 38 years in fostering children, teenagers and at one point the elderly and disabled.
Gaye was a dedicated professional in the construction and engineering industry as an Accountant, Executive Assistant and Procurement Professional but her focus always remained on family and her fostering of children.
Her life and love touched numerous people and that mark will remain for anyone that had the privilege of knowing her.
