Mabel Louise “Mae” Milton Medlin, 82, of Boerne passed away January 29, 2019.
Mae was born on July 22, 1936 in Lyford, Texas to Vardaman and Louise Milton. After graduating from Lyford High School, she lived in different cities in the US, settling in Boerne with her husband Wayne in the early 1990’s. She held various jobs, but she would tell everyone that her occupation was being a housewife. She enjoyed dancing, singing, and shopping. She also loved the beach and to go fishing. Most importantly, Mae loved her family. Everyone who knew her would describe her as generous and loving.
Mae is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne Medlin; her son, Larry (Sabrina) Bell; her daughters Kay (Marshall) Hasson, Tammy (Eric) Nelson, and Gina (Patrick) Kufrovich; three brothers; three sisters; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Vardaman and Louise Milton; her son, Douglas Bell; two brothers and four sisters.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the many doctors, nurses, and other staff within the Methodist Healthcare system in San Antonio and Boerne.
