Mae Kuroki, of Centennial, CO, passed away April 2, 2013. Mae was born June 1, 1931 in Rock Springs, WY to Teizo and Tatsuyo Inouye. Mae is preceded in death by her husband William (Minoru) Kuroki, to whom she was married for 52 years. Survived by daughter Judy & husband Walter Andrade of HI, son Gary & wife Michele Kuroki of CA, and son David Kuroki of CO. Mae was the proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Mae developed many wonderful friendships as a longtime member of the Denver community. She loved her family and friends, bringing great joy into each of our lives.
Mae enjoyed knitting, crocheting and creating her beautiful handmade cards. Along with friends, she made hundreds of caps for homeless people, wool caps for soldiers serving in Afghanistan and lap-blankets for elderly patients. Throughout her adult life, she crocheted unique quilts for her adult children, niece, nephews and extended family. She was an avid player in family poker games and a dedicated Bronco fan.
Mom, we will miss your energetic spirit, and infectious laughter. We will honor you by living our lives with the kind, gentle and generous spirit you shared with us.
