Madonna Mae Swafford, 86, of Bloomington passed away February 19, 2017 at IU Health Hospice House. Born, November 1, 1930 in Bloomington, she was the first born daughter to Donald and Mary Ann (White) Reynolds.
Madonna was a member of Sanders Pentecostal Church. After graduation in 1948 from Bloomington High School, she was employed at Sarkes Tarzian, RCA, Haag Drug Store, and was owner/operator of the Flower Patch until retirement in 1986.
Survivors include daughter, Linda Kay Tilley (Tom) of Ellettsville, son, Dallas Ray Swafford Jr. of Bloomington, two sisters, Marjorie Frye (Richard) of Royal, Arkansas, and Sandi Sneed (Carroll) of Mitchell, one step-grandson, Tommy Tilley (Tam), and three great step-grandchildren, Ty, Tori, and Teryk all of Tallulah, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Steven Swafford, two grandsons, David and Seth, one sister, Jane Ryan, one step-granddaughter, Tracy and the father of her children, Dallas Ray Swafford Sr. (1985).
Madonna’s family would like to thank the Nurses and Staff at IU Health Hospice House and the phenomenal Nurses on Two North at IU Health Bloomington Hospital for their care and professionalism.
