Madonna Jo (Crousore) Mellott passed away on April 10, 2016 at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.

Madonna was born on July 7, 1960 in Anderson, Indiana and has been a lifelong resident. Madonna was a 1978 graduate of Madison Heights. Madonna was diagnosed with cancer on August 29, 2015. Madonna fought hard during her last months on earth and remained positive the entire time. Madonna was employed at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Health, formerly St. John’s Hospital. She dedicated 37 years in the Food Service Department. Madonna enjoyed reading, animals and nature. Madonna dedicated her life to her adopted daughters, Cheyenne and Carla Crousore. Madonna adopted her younger sister, Angela’s daughters after she passed away suddenly from a pulmonary embolism. She leaves to cherish her memory, her adopted daughters, Cheyenne and Carla Crousore.

Also surviving are sisters, Eva Dawn (Mike) Chambers, Knob Noster, MO; Vicky Simpson, Anderson; Jackqulin Crousore, Indianapolis; nieces: Holly (Matthew) Berens, Tausha Simpson, Natalie (Lucas) Herrick; nephews; Michael (Tobi) Chambers, Matthew (Stephanie) Chambers and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents,William and Donna Crousore and sister, Angela Crousore.
