Madonna A. Mini, 86, of Dalzell, died peacefully at 4:10 AM January 22, 2016 after an extended illness.
Mrs. Mini was born in Spring Valley on December 20, 1929 to Matthew and Agnes (Cassidy) Lucas. She married Daniel Mini on June 24, 1950. Mrs. Mini worked as a telephone operator in her younger days and then Spring Valley Garment Factory for many years. She earned her License in Cosmetology in 1987.
Madonna was a life long member of St.
Mrs. Mini is survived by one son, Daniel (Ann) Mini of Wisconsin; three daughters, Donna (Dan) Marenda of Peru, Denise Mini of Dalzell and Dawn (Byron) Alberty of California; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother Robert (Dee) Lucas of Spring Valley; two sisters, Patrice Lucas of La Salle and Peggy Sweetland of Peru. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 17, 1997, five sisters, Dolores Galletti, Margery Zawacki, Mary Thompson, Beverly Derix and Madonna Mae in infancy; two brothers, James and Matthew Lucas.
