Selma- Madge M. Lamb, 94, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 9, 2018, at her daughter and son-in-law’s residence in Zionville following an extended illness. She was born on December 4, 1923, in Muncie, the daughter of Melvin and Gladys (Howell) Chalfant.
Madge was a 1941 graduate of Center High School in Perry Township and later married the love of her life, Ronald N. Lamb on April 6, 1947 in New Burlington, Indiana and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2002. Mrs.
Survivors include one daughter Jill Irons (husband-Barry), Zionsville one son, Mel Lamb (wife-Connie), Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Chris Irons (wife-Cheri), Battle Ground, Jonathan Lamb (wife-Mollee), Yorktown, Bruce Bryant, Marion and Brianna Pierce (husband-Ivan), Crown Point; twelve beloved great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband of 55 years, Ronald, she is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gene Chalfant.
