Madelyn Merced, 52, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family while in the care of Lehigh Valley Hospice. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, she was the loving daughter of Maria T. Serrano. Madelyn was a member of Iglesia Evangelica Hispana Luz Y Verdad, Bethlehem.
Madelyn Merced was an amazing young woman. Anyone who knew her, has known pure joy. She cared for her mother and vise versa, always together and there for eachother. She helped raise all of her brothers, sister, neices and nephews with such love. She adores kids, because she was one at heart & mind. She was such a bright light in a dark world. Brought instant joy and smiles when she walked in the room, always seeing the good in everything. She enjoyed going shopping and buying stuff for everyone, she loved Dorney, going on vacations, attending Church with her family and simply living everyday to the fullest never letting her disabilities affect her life. She has always lived with no regrets, just happy to be with everyone. She fought so hard for a while but she was just too good for this earth. Rest in peace, until we meet again.. We love you Tita ❤
