Madeline Murray, 85, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019. She was born July 5, 1933 in Marion County, daughter of Homer Fender and Pearl (Hilton) Fender. She married William Murray on April 28, 1955 in Champaign and he survives in Centralia.
In addition to her husband of 63 years, William “Bill” Murray of Centralia; three children: Cynthia Reid of Springfield, Kevin Murray and wife Lynn of Florida, and Elizabeth Murray of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters. Madeline was a homemaker.
She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her husband and family.
