Madalyn June Woker, 88 of Rockford, Illinois formerly of Nashville, Illinois and Centralia, Illinois passed away July 10, 2018 in Madison, Wisconsin surrounded by her loving family.

June was born on March 8, 1930 in Gary, Indiana the daughter of Otto C. Kleinschmidt and Veda B. (Bagwell) Keil. June married James D. Henderson in 1953 and he preceded her in death. Later she married Lawrence W. Woker in 1969 at Rockford, Illinois and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1981.

June is survived by three children: James C. Henderson and wife Idessa of Nashville, Illinois, Michael D. Henderson of Rockford, Illinois, and Beverly A. Wehking and husband Barry of Centralia, Illinois; two granddaughters: Jessica L. Henderson of Jerseyville, Illinois and Heather Wehking of Centralia, Illinois; one grandson: Drew M. Wehking of Centralia, Illinois; one great grandaughter: Harper Price of Jerseyville, Illinois; one step grandson: Chris E. Harkness and wife Robin of Nashville, Illinois; two step granddaughters: Carol Emery and husband Bo of Granby, Colorado, and Jolene M. Kitowski of Irvington, Illinois; Several step great grandchildren and cousins.

June was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, several aunts and uncles.

June was a nurse’s aide in her earlier years. She worked at Fireside Nursing Home and St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia IL. She also worked at River Bluff and Wesley Willows Retirement Home in Rockford, Illinois In her later years, she was a homemaker. June was a LOVING Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her including her grand cats and dogs. June was a member of The First Christian Church in Nashville, Illinois.
