Mack was born in Big Spring, Texas on May 31, 1944 to Mack Raymond and Juanita (Scoggin) Newton. He had a sisterMarilyn Rae Newton that preceded him in death. Mack was married to Polly Goodwin of Clarksville, Texas on August 19, 1965 in DeKalb, Texas. They have two sons and two daughters of Belton, Texas.
Mack served in the US Navy from 1961 to 1963 stationed on the aircraft carrier USS Orinkany. He was an equipment operator and truck driver. In recent years he was disabled and retired. Mack’s life envolved around his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his friends. He loved gardening, watching and feeding the hummingbirds and a good game of football.
He is survived by his wife Polly Newton, sons: Michael and Patrick Newton, daughters: Pamela Newton and Marilyn Brown, son-in-law Randy Brown, daughter-in-law: Destiny Newton all of Belton. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
