Mable (Price) Hardy, of South Toms River, passed away the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013. Mable passed away at Community Medical Center Toms River, with her family by her side. She passed away after a short illness at the age of 86. The daughter of the late Herman Price and Alberta Jackson.
She was baptized and school in Crewe, Virginia. She married Thomas J. Hardy in 1949 in Blackstone before relocating to Toms River, NJ, where they have resided for the past 63 years. Mable loved life and family, and was known to boast proudly of her family as being five generations strong. She is preceded in death by a brother, a sister, a son, (Little John); and daughter, (Gladys).
Mable leaves behind 6 sons, James, Walter, Thomas, William, Robert, and Donald; 7 daughters, Jessiemae, Frances, Alberta, Dorothy, Florence, Rosemary and Betty; 78 grandchildren, 203 great-grandchildren, 24 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and family.
