Mable Jacquelyn “Jackie” Aydelette, age 85, a native of Millry, Alabama was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. She was a long time member of Cottage Hill Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon, President of the Women of the Church, and many other rolls serving the church. She was a member of the New Mobilians social organization, Daughters of the Nile Naiad Temple No. 109 and Alabama State Nurses Association. She was a nurse for 50 years working at the Mobile Infirmary and then home healthcare. Nurse Jackie, as she was called, loved to travel, square dance, play bridge and follow Alabama football. She was a very active military wife where she supported her husband, Bill, wherever he was stationed. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill, of 55 years and daughter, Rebecca Ann Aydelette. She is survived by her son Buddy Aydelette (Becky) of Trussville, AL, four granddaughters, Lauren (Joe) Cooley, Trussville, AL, Lindsey (Gil) Howell, Trussville, AL, Julie (Paul) Miller, Grand Bay, AL, Ashley Aydelette Grand Bay, AL and many great grand children.
