Mabel M. Szalkiewicz (Montross), 91, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Middletown, NJ, before settling in Toms River 24 years ago. Mabel was a Claims Representative for Prudential Life Insurance Company in Holmdel, NJ, as well as a dedicated parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Toms River.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Alexander Szalkiewicz, her parents Jesse and Mary (Schlichthorl) Montross, as well as her sister Emily Calamia.
Mabel will be forever held in the hearts of her loving family; daughter Marylou Jaffe and her husband Steve of Keansburg, NJ, son Mark J. Szalkiewicz and his wife Kimberly of Escondido, CA, brother William Montross, and three grandsons, Matthew Szalkiewicz, Nicholas Szalkiewicz, and Daniel Szalkiewicz.
