Mabel K. Cox, 85, of Anderson, passed away on January 9, 2021, at the Waterford Place Health Campus, Kokomo, IN. She was born on June 10, 1935, in Anderson, Indiana.
Mabel graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1953. She retired as a receptionist for Reflectix in Markleville. She was a member of the Ladies of the Class of 1953 Luncheon Group.
Mabel is survived by her children, Gary (Rene’) Patton, Rick (Cindy) Patton, Rene’ (Chris) Jones, Bruce (Stefani) Patton; siblings, Marilyn Jackson, Carolyn (Richard) Miller, Keith (Joann) Kline; grandchildren, Seth (Jessica) Patton, Summer Craib, Bethany Roberts, Benjamin (Shannon) Patton, Jake Jones, Sierra Patton, Jennifer Jones; great-grandchildren, Jonas, Joy, Jeff, and Sam Craib, and Colten and Cooper Roberts; sister-in-law, Wanda Kline, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Cox; parents, Floyd Sr. and Lora M. Kline; siblings, Floyd Kline Jr., George Thomas Kline, Georgeanna Warriner; brother-in-law, Earl Jackson; and the father of her children, John Patton.
