M. Patricia Hogle, age 75, of West Lafayette, Indiana and a lifelong resident of Jasper County, passed away February 19, 2018 at Franciscan Health East in Lafayette, Indiana.
Pat was born in North Judson, Indiana on March 23, 1942, the daughter of Edward and Mabel (Thurman) Wright. Pat graduated from Wheatfield High School with the class of 1960. She graduated from St. Joseph College in Rensselaer and received her Master’s Degree from Purdue University. She was a teacher for twenty-seven years with the Kankakee Valley School system. On August 26, 1961, in Rensselaer, Indiana Pat married Thomas R. Hogle. They lived in DeMotte, Indiana for thirty-two years, moving to West Lafayette in 2009.
Tom preceded her in death on March 30, 2010. Pat was a member of the Virgie Christian Church, the Indiana Teachers Association and the Kankakee Valley Teachers Association.
Surviving are her loving children, Dana (Peter) Wislocki of West Lafayette, IN and Daniel (Shannon) Hogle of Marengo, IN, along with five grandchildren, Jessica (Sean) Lobes, Sara (Nate) Eichinger, Erin, Nathan and Ryan Hogle, two great grandchildren, Addison and Conor Lobes, her siblings, Richard (Sherrill) Wright of Alvin, TX, Louise ( Bob) Myers of DeMotte, IN, and Shirley (Larry) Mason of Lake Village, IN, her in-laws, John Cambe of DeMotte, IN, Colleen Wright of Crown Point, IN and Carol Wright of Valparaiso, IN and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mabel Wright, her husband, Tom Hogle, three brothers, George, Donald and Edward Jr. Wright and one sister, Dorothy Cambe.
