M. Homer Gluff , 70 of Fairmount, IN died Friday, October 15, 2021, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. Homer was born October 28, 1950, in Crossville, TN to the late Herman and Nancy (Miller) Gluff. He attended Cumberland County High School in Crossville, TN. He married Christine Shelton on March 20, 1970.

Homer was a TEAMSTER truck driver for nearly twenty-five years, with twenty of those years being with Central Transport before retiring in 2000. During retirement he stayed busy with “Hobby Job’s” with R&L Carriers, Napa Auto Parts, Village Pantry, and an Auction House in Tennessee. He enjoyed playing his guitar/banjo, listening to country/bluegrass music, woodworking, and fishing.

Homer was always at the local flea markets and auctions seeing what treasures he could find. No matter what he was working on, he always found time to enjoy life with his loving family whom will miss him dearly. Surviving is his adoring wife, Christine; son, James “Jim” Gluff; brother, John Mark (Cheri) Gluff. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Kenneth D. Gluff; sisters, Linda Fields, Wanda and Nadine Gluff, and brother’s Tony and Billy Gluff .
