Marlin H. Rowley “Bud” of Silverthorne, Colorado passed away in Parker, Colorado at age 90 on December 12, 2016. Bud was born in Ravenswood, West Virginia on March 19, 1926. He attended Barnes Business School in Denver for 2 years. Bud served our country in the Navy during World War 2. During Bud’s working years he was in sales for Hunt Wesson Food California Peach Advisory Board. Bud married Lois Rowley on January 6th, 1951 in Durango, Colorado. They loved each other for 66 years. During Bud’s off time he enjoyed golf, Shriners, gardening, bridge and the Mason Elk’s Club. Bud is predeceased by his sisters, Virginia McCormick, Joy Luzar and Rowena Royce, his mother, Hannah Rowley and his father Jesse Rowley. Bud is survived by his wife, Lois Rowley of Parker, Colorado, his daughter Elaine (Thomas) Garrett of Franktown, Colorado, his son Kyle (Robin) Rowley of Houston, Texas, his daughter Karen (Michael) Wallace of Monterey, California, and his six grandchildren, Michael (Laura) Wallace of Arlington, Virginia, Thomas Garrett of Franktown, Colorado, Kelsey Garrett of Franktown, Colorado, Paige (Austin) Jones of Austin, Texas, Brett Rowley of Houston, Texas, and Caroline Rowley of Ellensburg Washington.
