M. Grace (Corbezzolo) Shultz passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. Grace was a graduate of St. Paul’s School and Wilbur Watts High School. She was a very active student and a Drum Majorette for four years. Grace was very proud of being a Burlington resident and of Burlington’s rich history. Grace initiated and promoted many programs and activities that brought people, businesses and attention to her city.

Some of these included: International Day, the Wood Street Fair, the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting, Christmas House Tours, the Art Show, the Tercentennial Ball, Ship Shield Day, Burlington City’s 300th Birthday Ball, and Burlington County Court System’s 300th Anniversary Party. Grace also held many leadership positions including: President of Burlington Historical Society, President of The Business and Professional Women’s Club, President of the Board of Island Managers, and President of her very dear Home for Aged Women. She was also very involved with politics and the governing of Burlington, where she served as a Councilwoman.

Grace is survived by her husband of 61 years, Alexander, her sister Carmen Zott, brother Fred Corbezzolo and many nieces and nephews. All will miss her love, wisdom, advice and debates. She was preceded in death by her parents Mariangela and Charles Corbezzolo, her big sister Mary Harker, and brothers Lou Corbezzolo, Victor Carnivale, Pat Carnivale, Wally Carnivale, Emmy Carnivale and Albert Carnivale.
