Williamsport, MD – M. Darthea “Dot” Bledsoe, 98, a resident of Homewood at Williamsport, MD and formerly of Heisterboro Rd. Halfway, MD died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Homewood Retirement Center Williamsport, MD.
Born, May 20, 1913 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Howard McClellan and Mabel Irene Stickell Ingram.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lindsay Bledsoe in 1954.
She was a 1931 graduate of Hagerstown High School.
She was employed by the Washington County Library for over 20 years retiring in 1978.
She was a charter member of Church of the Holy Trinity UCC Halfway, MD. She taught Sunday School, gave Sunday School lessons over the radio in Hagerstown, MD, and very active in church.

Daughter: Anne L. Kerfoot and her husband Tom of Shepherdstown, WV
Daughter: M. Susan Bledsoe of New York City, NY
Son: Robert L. Bledsoe and his wife Carolyn of Fairfield, PA
Grandchildren: Lindsay Kerfoot, Lori Kerfoot Roman, Kristi Bledsoe Henry, and Nicholas Bledsoe.
Great Grandchildren: Brie Kerfoot Roman, Brynn Kerfoot Roman
He was predeceased by one daughter Peggy Bledsoe, sister Helen Shropshire and two brothers Gorman Ingram and Gus Ingram.
