Lynwood Hackett Sr. 91, of West Haven, husband of Marie D. Hackett passed away at home on Friday April 22, 2011 with his family by his side. Father of Diana Louise Hackett Biondi, Lynwood Hackett Jr. and Theodore Williams Hackett. He is survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Lynwood was born on April 11 1920, son of the late Albert E. and Bertha Georges Hackett. He was also predeceased by his brothers and sisters Eddy, Harold, Bertha, Bobby, Charlie, Charlotte, Freddy and Clifford. Lynwood was retired from Amtrak Railroad, ,Manhattan Savings Bank and Gateway Community College Security Department and was the Treasurer for U.T.U. New Haven local and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion of West Haven. He became a West Havener when he worked at Mo Quigley’s Bar in West Haven.
