Lynnette Anne Dodge of Moscow died Friday, August 19, 2016 at Good Samaritan Moscow Village. She was 65. Lynnette was born Sept. 20, 1950 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Arthur W. and June R. Amborn Hofner. The family moved to California where she attended school in Orange County and graduated from Tustin High School. She and Jack Dodge were married in Las Vegas on March 22, 1969. They made their home in Santa Ana and Tustin. She worked from home for a detective agency and later as an editor for the Orange County Register newspaper. She then began her career with the City of Costa Mesa as an executive assistant, retiring from there in 2014 when they came to Moscow to be nearer to family. Lynnette enjoyed gardening, music, taking drives and exploring, needlepoint, and was active in the PFO and Boy and Girl Scouts when the children were young. She was also an avid reader. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jack, at their Moscow home, her sons, Jeffrey A. Dodge (Mark McLaughlin), Steven (Jaime) Dodge, and daughter Andrea Dodge along with three grandchildren, Marley, Osa Lynn and Madison, all of Moscow. She also leaves two sisters, Cindy Hidden in Santa Ana and Joni Walker of Irvine, CA. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, William “Bill” Hofner.
