She worked for Westinghouse, which later became Northrup Grumman, for over 40 years until her retirement in 2000. Mrs. Strickland was a member of Jobs Daughters in Brooklyn. Her hobbies included snow skiing, boating, camping and flower gardening. Mrs. Strickland is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Paul C. Strickland and her sister Dawn Johnson. She is preceded in death by her sister Dale Smith.
