Lynn Dennis Stanger passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 13, 2015 at the age of 81.
Lynn was the 5th son of Grant Calvert Stanger and Leah Virginia Jones born on November 4, 1933 in Pocatello.
Lynn married the love of his live on May 17, 1958, Sharon Madelon Barker in Bancroft, Idaho where they started their many adventures in life together.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Madelon Barker, and 3 daughters: Stacy Humpherys (Rob), Carrie Jo Stanger and Carmen Stanger (Dean Barney) and foster son Alan C. Gayhart, Sr. (Connie) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Too numerous to name, but he knew everyone by name and bragged about all of them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers (Grant and Freddie Stanger), one daughter (Sharilyn Barnes), one son (Grant C. Stanger), and two granddaughters (June Clarke and Madelon Stanger-Holliefield).
Throughout his life he enjoyed old country folk songs, horseback riding, hunting, practical joking, spontaneous road trips with his wife and kids, fishing, fishing… and more fishing, and last but not least fishing.
