Lynette Gladys Morf Shupe, 79, returned to her Heavenly home after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on September 10, 2022.  Lynette was born on April 24, 1943, in Ogden, UT daughter of Walter Arnold Morf and Gladys Doxey Morf.  She was sealed to her sweetheart Roger Clair Shupe, in the LDS Logan, UT Temple on August 30, 1963.  They met at the LDS Institute of Religion and Lambda Delta Sigma Fraternity at Weber State College.  They lived in Ogden for 37 years and North Ogden for 22 years.  They have 5 children.

She grew up in Ogden.  She attended Mound Fort Elementary, Mound Fort Jr. High, and graduated from Ben Lomond High School.  She continued her education and graduated from Weber State College with her Associates degree.  She retired from Commercial Security/KeyBank after 30 years working as an Operations Specialist.

Her mom and dad taught her, by example, the love of gardening.  She always had fun helping irrigate their gardens and grass wearing her galoshes. Her passion for gardening continued throughout her life.  Canning was a priority every Summer and Fall.

She is missed deeply by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Roger, her five children Kevin (Shelley) Shupe; Colleen (Scott) Shuman; Bryan Shupe; Julie (Dave) Bischoff; Lei Anne (Tim) Price; 18 grandkids and 15 great grandkids, and her loving sister Karen (Howard) Grant.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father.

A special thank you to Dr. Balcombe and staff of Ogden Clinic Wound Care for their exceptional thoughtfulness and care for the past four years; thank you to Taylor Costley and staff at Inspirational Hospice for their dedication and care; thank you to the Memory Care Unit at The Lodge at North Ogden for their kindness, patience, and loving care in her final days.

Services will be Friday, September 16, 2022, at 11:00 am at the LDS North Ogden 24th Ward Chapel 1150 E 2600 N, North Ogden, Utah.
