Lynda Ruth Golding, 61, formerly of Ogden, Utah, took her final earthly flight and landed in heaven’s glory on December 22, 2012 in Omaha, NE. She was born March 11, 1951 in Ogden, Utah, the oldest of eight children born to the late William and Rosetta Golding. She attended the Ogden City public schools and graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1969.
She later moved to Kansas City, MO and attended technical college and received a certificate in Business Machines and was employed by Wonder Bakery. She later moved to New Orleans, LA and later briefly to Tucson, AZ, before moving to Omaha, NE in the early 1990’s. She worked for Cox Communications for over fifteen years before retiring.
Lynda was a very kind, caring, loving, selfless person who had a “Heart of Gold” and was always concerned about others more than herself. She had a great love for the Lord and was saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost as a young lady.
She was preceded in death by both parents and grandparents and leaves to cherish her memory: Three daughters; La Tashia Watson, Chandler, AZ; La Sheena (Gerald) Antoine, New Orleans, LA and Shauntell Gaines, NE; four grandchildren: Tiara and Taylor Smoothers, New Orleans, LA and Shawn’Anthony and Ny’Lah Moorland, Omaha, NE; Three brothers: William Golding, Jr, Kansas City, MO; Lawrence (Esther) Golding, Chandler AZ, and John(Sally) Golding, Roy, UT, Four sisters: Alma Joy (Alvin) Scranton, Omaha, NE; Paula McDonald, Chandler, AZ; Daisy (Henry) McAllister, Clearfield, UT and Eloise (David) Snell, Idaho Falls, ID; one uncle, Lonnie Dudley, Kansas City, MO and one God brother, Bobby Allen, Jr. A host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
