Lynda Morrison, 77, of Brighton, passed away January 8, 2013. She was born September 22, 1935 in Harrisburg, PA to Willard and Claire (Maltman) Dunlop. She attended school in Quachertown, PA and married David Morrison on March 17, 1956 in Germany, while she was serving in the US Air Force. Lynda later received her nursing degree in Denver, CO in 1969.
She worked for numerous Denver Hospitals and for many years was the staff nurse for Mile High Kennels in Commerce City. Later in her career she worked with Home Health & Hospice Care.
In her free time, Lynda enjoyed bowling and watching the Rockies and Broncos play. She always enjoyed a day at the ball park. She was the “go to” babysitter for all of her grandchildren, which she loved. She also enjoyed trips to the movie theater on her children’s birthdays and she loved to listen to music.
Lynda is survived by her children, Glenn Morrison of Thornton, Scott (Joann) Morrison of Broomfield, Gina (Damon) Selvidge of Brighton and Michael (Cheryl) Morrison of Brighton; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, David, in 2011; one brother, Fred and her mother, Claire in 2000.
