Lynda Lou Riley Wright, 81, of Greenwood passed away May 7, 2018. She was born August 6, 1936 in Knightstown to the late Elmer and Maude Riley. She was a 1954 graduate of Southport High School. Lynda was a member of the American Federation of Musicians and of the Indiana and National Steel Guitar Associations. She and her husband were professional musicians. Lynda played several instruments and also sang vocals. Lynda and Richard performed in Las Vegas for many years before moving back to Indianapolis. Lynda loved animals, especially small dogs and chipmunks.
Lynda is survived by her husband Richard Wright; step-children Cheri Vetter, Steven Wright, David Wright, Laurel Wright, Alan Wright; siblings Dennis M. Riley and Sue (Wayne) VanFossen; and 11 step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in passing by her brother Danny Riley and stepson Gary Wright.
